MISSION

The mission is to encourage women into the IT field and help women advance their careers in technology through networking, mentoring and professional development.

HISTORY

Our organization was founded in July 2010 and officially launched in October 2011 by a group of ladies in that are passionate in the IT field and have seen the huddles that many women face in this field, thus our desire to make and see a change in Uganda. Our aim is to serve and help women that are yet to join the field by inspiring them and also encouraging those that are already in the field to grow their careers in the field.

We strongly believe that women’s participation in the creation of technology in IT will strengthen the workforce, raise the standard of living for many women, and help to assure that technology addresses women’s needs and expands the possibilities for their lives.
